Hi,

I have an 8yr old ex racer who had a couple of falls going on the Chiropractor and physios opinions. He is quite stiff through the neck but is getting better the more his schooling progresses.

Since the weather turned cold he has been quite stiff and his clicky pastern has gotten much more noticeable so im thinking of supplementing his diet to see if that helps him.

I know that different things work for different horses but i was wondering what supplements do your clicky creaky horses get?

Thank you.

Last winter I was using My Joints First - found it very good. When you look at how much more ingredients your getting for the price compared to the other market leaders next to it on the shelf its a shocker!

Mine is ex ptp and found it helped her creaky bones!

the rest of the time i use regular col liver oils in her feed :)

I feed my exracers micronised linseed for their joints. One is 14 and very creaky, joint supps mde very little difference, the other has neck issues. Linseed is great for feet, coat and weight gain too.

Reg has linseed, as Scarlett said. He's also on Vetrofen, and it is a miracle worker- the difference between when he's on it and when he's off it is marked. It's expensive, but worth every penny.

Aviform suppleaze gold - every horse I've ever given it to has shown a marked improvement within a week. I have my dogs on the canine version and its worked with them too.
