I am not going to name the product, but I have had my 18 year old on a joint supplement for a few weeks, and I am convinced it is starting to make a difference. I had the best schooling session for ages today.

It is around 4 weeks since I started, so if there was going to be any improvement I would have hoped that it would have kicked in by now. I hadn't tried a schooling session up to now. As for not naming, I wouldn't want to be accused of advertising and there are masses of products on the market and I presume that they more or less have the same ingredients.

products can be named on here, different people have different experiences and I for one come on here to get product names and the success and non success for different people. I use Reflex for my daughters mare and she is not stiff at all, she is competing games and polocrosse well.

I too look on here for positive experiences with products as there are so many to choose from. I have my veteran arthritic mare onGlucosamine and turmeric and linseed and I have just started using some magnetic fetlock boots to see if they will help too. She is shod with pads and filler, so I am trying all that I can to make her comfortable.

Oh well - it is the Top Spec 10:10

For hacking he has been 100% sound, but when I wanted to school him and ride in circles he obviously had difficulty/didn't want to canter in a circle and was putting his ears back and just grinding to a halt and getting very cross/kicking out if I tried a whip. So I have just been hacking and not trying to do cirles and he is fine to canter in a straight line.

So the last time I tried it, he offered canter on a circle without a problem. So hoping that this will continue.

I have my old horse on 10:10 as well. I took him off it and within a few weeks my farrier commented that he was struggling and was really stiff. Put him back on and next time farrier said he was much better. Parades around the field like a youngster and although semi-retired when he is ridden he feels great. Not bad for a 23 year old.
