Hello!
I have a 12.2h 36 year old retired pony. she had arthritis in her joints as you would expect at her age. She has bute daily and osteopen monthly (injectable). As many horse owners out there I’m lost in a world of joint supplements. She has had a maintenance one for a while but feel she could do with something with a bit more umph that focuses on anti-inflammatory and comfort. I’ve so far I’ve narrowed it down to Cosequin, Ria flex, pharmaquin, pernamax, corta-flex and synequin. I wondered if anyone with horses as old as mine have actually had any luck with any of these? I’ve also looked at some buteless type products, although finding ones that can be used along side bute has been challenging. Any help is appreciated.
