Can't be bothered (lazy I know!) to find the previous posts so please could you recommend a tried and tested supplement or feed that ACTUALLY works. Don't mind the price.

Also is devils claw any good? Or is it not good for their liver?

Has anyone tried global herbs, do they work?

There is a supplement that 'fixes' cartilage etc but can't remember what it's called - any ideas

Thanks! :D

Cortaflex is supposed to be good. I know two people that use it with very different horses- one ex pony club pony and one 18h ex prix st George dressage horse! Both swear by it.

Cortaflex ha works well but don't bother with the normal cortaflex.

I use devil claw herb and find it really good, keeps my mare in work who has ringbone and if I stop it there's a big difference.
I have heard it's not good for their liver long term but I'm yet to see proper proff of this.

My boy's on Cortaflex HA, has been since early spring/late winter earlier this year. Had absolutely no problems, but the real test is coming up as it was when the weather turned last year that he went stiff in his joints and had to have time off from ridden work.

So, crossed fingers, toes and anything you could hope to cross that he stays sound this winter.
If not then I'll try either NAF 5 star Superflex or Premierflex HA. Both of which I've heard good things about.
