I currently feed my horse a well known brand of joint supplement, but feel that it maybe now isnt as effective as it should be so am considering changing to something else. The Naf Superflex powder (or liquid) is appealing to me at the moment - does anyone have any experiences, good or bad, that they could tell me about. Please deel free to PM if you would prefer! Thanks all x

What is it you're feeding now? I have just started mine on Topspec 10:10 joint supplement. No idea how good it is/what effect it has as only just started mine on it this week.

Can't say i know anything about the Naf one though unfortunately

Have an 18 yo 16.3hh MW hunter who hunts twice a week. In the winter he is on NAF and looks good - does not look stiff at all. In the summer he is not fed it and looks as stiff as a board in the field. Real difference when he is on it.

I feed the Feel Good 30 Joint & Relief and it's amazing! Has devil's claw and boswellia for pain relief, glucosamine and chondroitin sulphate for joint support. He's a 16 yr old 16.3 chunky hunter (maxi cob type) with arthritis. To make him as sound as he is on the supplement takes 2 sachets of bute/day. Really effective! Any plain devils claw supplement doesn't touch him and joint supplements don't make him sound either.

have a look at premier flex has the most glucosamine and chondroitin and ha of any other supplement you can buy and andy realy knows his stuff and excellent customer service.

One of mine is on Cosequin - yes it is expensive BUT once you are past the loading dose you cut down. I am now giving him 1 scoop a day, which means the pot lasts 8 months, which at £98 per pot works out at just over £12 a month!!
