ok can any one help rather long story here goes...
my horse has been on cosequin a joint supplement that i get from my vets for 18 months now, after being diagnosed with bone spavin, and up until now ive been able to get it through the insurance but now have an exclusion on that leg so have to start buying supplement myself this wouldnt be a problem but its 120 a tub and although it lasts months i know i can get cheaper ones. so i rang up my vets yesturday and asked about changing her onto something like cortaflex and vet said that would be fine. so had a look through some catalogues and theres loads of them ive heard good thinks about cortaflex but that one of the more expensive ones my auntie gets one from robinsons, its robbies own make and is only 20 dont know if its any good though. any recomendations would be greatly received. also shes only on a 1/4 of a scoup of cosequin a day.

thanx

Personally wouldnt touch cortaflex, NAF 5* supplement is good, and heard only good stuff about the gold label products too....

Corta flex is brillaint stuff- but what ever you use you need to look at the amount of active ingredients. Some cheaper brands have much less in so are not as cost effective.

I give my tb super flex by NAF, it was 36.99 for a smaller tub but should last 3 months as im feeding it as she is ridden a fair bit and is an ex racer. Im always cautions with her as she is fine and was prob hammered as a youngster.
