Do they really make a significant difference? Which one is the most effective. Big mare has arthritis in coffin joint (xrays & nerve blocks yesterday) - joint will be injected next week, but what else would help?

Synequin and Cosequin have research backing them up, they are quite expensive though

My boy has the same, he is on Newmarket Joint supplement. I don't know if it makes a difference but I'm too scared to take him off of it in case it does

Have you thought about magnatherapy?

Cortaflex and magnetic therapy seem to do alot to improve comfort in my view - they certainly seem to make my horse more comfortable. He is also on NoBute.

I feed all my oldies, and canine Puppy, and myself (I got juvenile osteoarthritis in my teens) on cortaflex - great stuff

Newmarket Joint supplement does too. Apparently these 3 are the only ones that have the studies to prove they can actually work (for some horses).
