I am currently on the joint suppliment Cosequin which is fantastic (I think TBH it's the only one I've been on and she had injections at the same time so dont really know if its keeping her sound or if she'd be sound anyway?) but it has the price tag to match, so far it's been being paid by my insurers as her arthritis was only diagnosed in september. My insurers have now put an exeption on anything to do with arthritis or DJD. I would like to try a joint suppliment that is less expensive. Does anyone have any recomendations?
Or is it false economy and should I stick to the cosequin and just close my eyes when handing over the wadge of money!?

How much are you paying? Are you getting it direct from the vets?

I am using synequin for mine (very similar to cosequin), and also in the position where my insurance will soon stop paying for it... As advised by my vet, I've had a look online, and if you have a prescription from your vet, you can then order it online for a fair bit cheaper than getting it direct from your vets.

Atm I (or rather my insurence) is paying £180, and I have managed to find it online for £100 but obvs thats still alot more expensive than some of the others. I am happy and willing to pay that but was hoping there was a slightly cheaper alternitive. :)
