Hiya everyone,
Does anyone know of any supplement for joints that actually works?
We have just bought some glucosamine and are going to try that but does any one know of any good supplements that they have used for joints?
Thanks

just been asking this at the horsepital - one of ours has just been diagnosed with arthritis in his coffin joint(s). :(

the only one that the vet said had any real scientifice evidence for showing a benefit is called Gelatinaat. But it is £75 for a 2kg tub!! (and have so far only found 1 place selling it in UK.) Once the damage is done, nothing is going to put it right, the best to hope for is to slow down any further deterioration.

Equiflex

I've used it on loads of horses and seen a real difference in all of them. One of my clients horses had bone spavins and was put on cosequin. When insurance ran out they asked vet (large hospital) what they thought of Equiflex and they said it would be fine. Didn't see any difference at all when they changed it over.

It's good value too and if you put it on DD they deliver straight to your door, free P&P
