I don't dislike the stuff (except velour which I'm not into at all), I'm just not a very pink person. I actually don't think it's that expensive. The only thing I think is expensive is the jacket. I'd rather put the £70 towards a make which was geared towards protection against the elements rather than fashion. Good on Katie though for giving us a bit more choice in horsey clothes, and it is her first collection so she deserves a bit of a break.
 
Being rich doesn't matter a jot to me, but it does to some.

I suppose that's what the makes the world go round, everyone is different, has different likes, dislikes etc.

I was just wondering if it was the name Katie Price that had people so vehemently against the range. If Joules or similar produced the range would it attract such vitriol.

Just musing.
 
Partly, I think. I loathe it because she is so far beyond the pale. But then again, if Joules suddenly turned everything in hot pink velour (as if) I'd loathe that too.
I don't mind pink and purple on Cuddly Ponies. I don't mind little girls liking tat a bit. My youngest has just grown out of it and into some discernment, at 9. Although, I have to admit, she does still like Twinkletoes!!!!
But chavvy tat is a big no no.

Why? There is very little original about the clothes. She is using her name to sell. KP is not selling clothes because there is a gap in the market, she is using her name to make more money. Why not? other people have done the same. She hasnt designed these clothes herself. Designers have done it. She has just put her name to it. Easy money.

And Derby House arent daft either.
 
I like the head collar. I loath all of the clothing, and the rug is far too expensive. I would definitely go with kyra k if i wanted fashionable horsey clothes.
I think it's great for children with ponies. But adults clothing...
