Slightly mixed emotions really, as I felt awful for poor Molineux riding a horse she loves dearly, but he was seriously dangerous and Joss was obviously shocked!!
Snoop was a good boy when he arrived and I went and warmed him up in the jumping arena.
His crash course in flat work has really helped and canter was getting better and better.
Joss arrived and we warmed up over a x pole once on both reins. Then just an upright followed by same upright to a double!
Wolfie was obviously getting very strong and just running off with Molineux and although she rode the best i have ever seen, even Joss said he wouldnt ride him!!
Snoop then went on and worked over the whole course and it was the first time Snoop had jumped barrels, but I need not have worried lol
I struggled in patches with keeping my rhythm, but joss gave me lots of tips and this really helped!
He loved snoopy and said he was a seriously talented horse! he loved his outlook, and agreed he is a cocky little bugger! lol
We worked hard on turns, and lines, he was superb! I have to ride him as if hes a lot older than he is, trust him but let him work it out for himself.
Anyway, we finished off doing the course which was fabby and I thought we had finished, but J had other ideas and did another course for us which we completed without fault so J shouted put him to bed
because he was so pleased with how he went.
The sky threatened all afternoon, but thank god it didnt rain until we were leaving. The rain was seriously heavy on our way home, but dry when we arrived back to the yard. Molineux rode Winston and he went sweetly.
So she can take him to J and have a lesson on him next time.
Here are some pics, not brilliant but you get the idea.
Thanks for reading. Click on the pictures they get bigger.
