Joules hat question..

Now I need a hat to go with the jacket!!
I love the furry hats that go over your ears but they only have a M/L in adults otherwise a L/XL in kids. I have a really small head wear size 53/54 hat, should I go for a kids one or are they for really tiny kids?

The XL in the kids is for around the age of 11/12 ish

Then the womens goes into M or L but have no idea of the sizing (we've not got them yet)
