Does anyone have the Joules field coat (tweed)? I've seen a few on offer online and really like it in the angus tweed (the reddish tinged one) but have no idea what the sizing is like. I'm usually a size 8, 10 sometimes on top. Am I best going for a 10 so I can fit layers underneath if needed?

I tried a few tweeds on (Oxford Blue) at P2P recently and couldn't find a single one I liked... couldn't get any to fit properly around the waist, they tended to fit on shoulders but be huge/baggy around the waist (even supposedly tailored ones). If I order online I want to make sure it's likely to fit, don't really want to get into the cycle of buying things and returning them.

What is the Joules tweed like?

Thanks :)

I bought one for my mum recently and I would say she is a similar size (8/10) I got her the 10 and it looks great. She often has a thickish jumper on underneath though so likes jackets with a more 'comfortable' fit :p

I have the red one it's lovely . I have big boobs and that why I was told to go up a size. A tweed coat a little to big is much more use than one a little too small.

OK, i've ordered the red one from TDS saddlers (my favourite place to buy online!) in a size 10 so a size bigger than usual. IIRC my work/every day coats (ie, smarter ones, not manky yard/riding coats) are all size 10...

Thanks everyone :)
