JP Eggbutt snaffle

This might be really cheeky.... but has anyone got one of these in a 5" (or 5.5" maybe) that they would lend or sell?

We've tried double jointed bits - not so great.
No joints - better contact (more 'positive' feeling') but no real precision in using the reins for anything
Thinking one joint might be the way forward?? Definitely can't afford something like the NS version though for a cofortable mouthpiece! Rather low on money at the minute having just bought a new saddle too

Can't find anywhere that sells them - without costing you a fortune!

Worth having a check at Equestrian Outfitters UK though as they often have clear out sales on bits...so keep your eyes peeled maybe.

Eggbutt questions aren't as cheeky as full cheek questions.

Mine is a Korsteel, but very like this one. I've tried french links and hollow mouth single-jointed bits but my guy loves this type best. It's a bit heavy for his headstall, but he does like it.

I found one on Ebay a while ago, and then put it back on there a week later The one I had was very heavy and thick, so if your horse is short of space in the mouth then may not be the best choice
