JRT puppies- where to look?!

We are looking at JRT puppies for sale but there seem to be none about where I live! Have looked at tack shops etc to no avail, joined e-pupz but there are none locally (except JRT crosses). Where on earth do you look for puppies for sale?! Have never had to do it before, my whippets fell into my lap (well not literally

) and our old JRT before them was bought through a family friend (who is now dead).

Any ideas?! I guess you're all going to say to rescue one which is an option but would like to look down other routes first...

Does it have to be JRT?
We have the black version.... ie patterdale terriers!!

Home bred from good lines, bred for temperament and conformation. We have just 1 black bitch left from a litter of 7 born 8/9/09. Both parents and 2yo full sister can all be seen.
Patt's are very active and intelligent, they are willful then as are all terriers but they are also extremely loving and loyal. Our lot are happiest when they are on our laps having cuddles!!

Widgit is 9 weeks old and a real sweetie, legally docked and microchipped she will go for first vaccination this week!

Have you tried the local vets? We got our JRT through recommendation from the horse vet.
