Juat a quickei, please reply (Jeffries bridle)

Hi, i have ordered on ebay a cob size Jeffries noseband, my horse has a full size head but needs a cob size noseband!
Now my Jeffries bridle has Jeffries in the leather on every bit of my bridle and on the buckles, this one that arrived today hasn't got it anywhere, now it seems the same quality etc, but how do i know for sure that it is Jeffries?? Any ideas

Does it match exactly? You could look in Chandlers to see if the Jeffries nosebands they sell are stamped. I bought a Jeffries browband there & it isn't stamped though.

My Jeffries bridle isnt stamped either. Its years old now and was the cheaper Wembley version, I also have a crank noseband, which is the Falcon I think and I dont think that is stamped either. If its brown then Jefferies dont tan the underside and the stiching is white, or used to be .

Mine is marked on each section and all the ones ive seen in shops have marks on them so maybe its a fake?

No it's not a fake! Not all styles are stamped with Jeffries, I was told the reason why but I can't remember (sorry!). However the way to confirm it's Jeffries is if it's a brown bridle and the underneath side of the leather is still the natural colour.
