Just wondering if anyone has bought a horse from her? Seems good as on the website it says she gives you a 3 month guarantee.

Good and/or bad experiences please as I like the look of a few of her horses but it's 3 and a half hours drive, so don't want to go all that way if she's not as good as she appears to be and the horses aren't as nice as they look.

well in my opinion, she has the dodgest horses the typical lame / problem types.as a child i worked for another dealer that used to off load her crappy nags to judy. (but saying that the dealer i worked for wasn't behind the door when i came it either).
i would stay well clear tbh or take someone very experinced with you as most of the poor horses you will see. will have been passed from one dealer to another.

I'm surprised at that as the horses on her website look in good condition. Though she doesn't have any videos on there to check what they are like when ridden.

hmmm "barge pole touch wouldn't" springs to mind, that said we did send a particularly awful pony i had to her to sell, as no one else would go near it!!

I can recommend www.stubleyhollowfarm.com Patsy Day won't take in horse's with problems. That speaks volumes to doesn't it? My mare is from her and I know several other good horses from her. Her web site tends to be out of date, so its always worth ringing her about what she has.

Yes I know Patsy from Stubley Hollow, most our PC and RC have horses from her and she's very good

my sister worked worked for patsy last year and i agree with sw123 she is really good and has a good eye for a horse and will not sell any horse that isn't right.
prices are a bit high but at least you get what you've paid for.

The thing with Patsy is that when you pay the slightly higher cost, you know that you are paying for something. She very often works with a horse for months before selling. She will at least work with them for weeks, hacking and schooling. So, unlike so many others, she knows the horse well enough to have the best chance of making a successful match between customer and horse. She also provides a genuine aftersales service.

Yeah I've looked on the Stubley Hollow website. I might give her a ring or email her nearer to the time. I like the look of Ludo but it seems like he's out of work at the moment. They are a bit younger than I wanted but as long as their manners are there then I suppose it wouldn't be a problem.

Thanks for everyone's feedback
