Any recommendations for either jump or dressage instructors around Cambridge, clinics are few and far between.

Experience far more important than qualifications.

If you want someone who will come to you, I can't recommend Anne Ratcliffe enough. She teaches jumping and dressage, and is fab. She has taught me for 12 years, and we've just started bringing on my second horse in that time.
She works on getting the horse working correctly, using itself properly and equally on both sides. She will explain to you exactly what each exercise is designed to do, and what you're aiming for. She can look at a horse and tell you if it's working correctly and straight, and is brilliant at making you feel you have achieved things each lesson.
As you can probably tell, I think very highly of her. She is a lovely person, totally unshockable, and has a good line in dirty jokes!
If you want to look her up on the BHS website, she is C.A. Ratcliffe; Anne is her middle name.

Anne Ratcliffe is very good. If you are sounth of Cambs I recommend Kate Tropp, she is relatively unknown but is a UKCC level 3 coack and has years of experience working with young horses and showjumpers. PM me is you want details.
