Hi, spoilt me is moving from a lovely big arena perfect for jumping to a yard with a smaller one and am just a bit stumped as to what people do jumping wise! Is it possible to set up a small course? Any fun exercises you could do?

Not jumping massive as on youngster, so ideally don't want sharp sharp turns either. Thank you!

There are so many you can do!

Grid work, jumping on a circle (works on rhythmn and leading leg), have all jumps down the centre line and jump over them in circles, serpintines, loops etc.
Can have jumps across the diagonal working on keeping balance/canter off the turn, have jumps set up so you can jump the fences straight, and then slowly increasing the angle you jump at.
Jumping from a walk is an easy one too in a small arena :)

There are so many things you can do, but I would keep them small (ie.90cms below) as usually height dosen't matter but the quality of work does :)
I "play" with young horses when jumping - do lots of interesting jumps and if they find it too hard it dosen't ruin confidence :) (infact it increases!! :p)

place 4 jumps in the centre with one end of each at X - so that they are in a +.

You can make a whole course out of this, by changing rein etc.
