A few of us from my yard went to a Jump x training day today. I was asked to take a friends horse that has only ever jumped once since they have had him and probably not much before that either.
Dermot is a 16hh+ shire x type with huge dinner plates for feet so I was a bit apprehensive but he was a gem. He had a go at everything and although did crash throught a few tried his little heart out.
This was in preperation for his novice owner to take him x country and I am 100% sure he will be well looked after.
OH came too on our friends other horse and came 3rd in the competition phase
A good day had by all!!
