And before I get the wisdom of 'buy a stopper' - I have one and it's not stopped me doing it, just improved my lower leg

My horse only tends to stop if I jump ahead (sometimes goes anyway though) but I find that I either do that or get left behind. With small jumps through a grid I'm fine; but anything over 70cm doesn't go so well.
Horse has also discovered her hind end and is regularly jumping cleanly over the top of the (1.55m!) wings which is making life difficult.
