And before I get the wisdom of 'buy a stopper' - I have one and it's not stopped me doing it, just improved my lower leg :p ;).

My horse only tends to stop if I jump ahead (sometimes goes anyway though) but I find that I either do that or get left behind. With small jumps through a grid I'm fine; but anything over 70cm doesn't go so well.

Horse has also discovered her hind end and is regularly jumping cleanly over the top of the (1.55m!) wings which is making life difficult.

I am terrible for this but have improved over the past few months and suddenly my horse is magically jumping so much better!
For me it's lots of consciously thinking shoulders back, nothing beats beings shouted at by an instructor or just someone on the ground right up to the fence.
I found at uni that having to jump a pony I felt was far to small for me was great - you won't lean forward with nothing in front of you!
I have also been tempted to try suggestions of jumping one handed or without reins to encourage sitting up but haven't braved this yet

Don't look at your fences - look over the top of it (I used to stare at stable roof ahead of me) or shut your eyes.

If you can't see it, you can only feel when the horse takes off - this is the point at which you keep a soft, following hand and fold as needed.
