Just a quick video of the 2'9" to 3' class I rode in yesterday at Hartpury College. She won me a 1st and £9 prize money, and in the next class which was 3' to 3'3" she came 4th and won £6 prize money. The second class was a tester to see if she would be happy jumping at that height as she hasn't done a round that big in a long time (complicated confidence issues!!). She flew all of it and I'm very pleased with her :D

Here's the video of the 2'9 to 3' class, it's only a minute and a half long. Also sorry for the writing over the top of the video! I haven't got the second video up yet but will post it soon :)

Well done, some very good turns in the JO you two seem really good together :) We was there yesterday but just for the CRs for numerous reasons. Were the jumps up to height?

Ah yes I have been following a few of your posts about Andy :D how did he do with the CR's?

The jumps were all measured when they were heightening them and they seemed pretty up to height to me! The yellow spread (start of JO) was just above my belly button!!!

23! I would never have guessed, she looks about 5!:)

Yep she's an old lady but very young at heart (and does act like a five year old pretty much all the time lol). She's had no miles on the clock really until I bought her. Had a great start in life and then stood in a stable for about 12 years doing nothing!

Now I'm hoping to possibly affiliate her BSJA as I've never done it before and want to have a go before it's too late with her :)

Was just wondering as want to go there again but not sure how they build the unaffiliated courses. Andy went nicely, fast but it was good bless him :)

As for the BSJA go for it, if you can jump like that you're already better then half the people there ;) They have a 6 month membership atm so you can give that a try. There are a lot of BS venues nearby and there is pretty much a comp every week so its very beneficial registering :)

Ah right, well if you're interested in going again they have unaffiliated on this Friday in the evening. It will be over the two smaller arenas though, one for warm up and the other for the classes. Most if the time the fences are measured to height but sometimes I've looked at it and though "that's a bit small!" or "that's a bit big!" lol.

I love going there though to compete, have done for years and the horses enjoy jumping there.

There is BSJA on at Hartpury this Saturday coming which I was thinking about doing on a ticket? As I've never done it before and would rather have a go first than jump in at the deep end lol.

Let me know if you go to any of the Hartpury shows as I'll keep an eye out for you :D Sounds as though Andy loves his jumping, what are you aiming to do with him?

A pleasure to watch, ridden in a beautiful rhythm and you would have never guessed she was 23 :)

Thank you!! I'm glad you enjoyed it :) She's doing so well now, and I'm sat here with a huge grin on my face still running the two classes through my head enjoying every moment! Very, very pleased to say the least! :D

Although I filmed it, I didn't really get a chance to watch it back properly until last night as it takes all my concentration to keep you in shot. Apart from that clonk on the first fence, she didn't put a foot wrong :)

I would assume so. I saw them measuring the related distances and fence heights between rounds with a big tape measure. Some were good spreads which caught a few out over the back in the 3ft class, others didn't look to be, so a mix and match.
