Was asked last night if i wanted to go to a jumping derby today but could only get to the 2'9-3' class, iv never competed xc (been schooling once) and have done 2'9 SJ courses before and didn't want to turn the opportunity down.
Rushed around this am trying to get a medical armband, finally got one.
Walked the course and was worried i would forget where i was going
(20 jumps) 1-8 SJ 9-20 XC
Mystic felt strong but had control going round, unfortunatly he is still randomly refusing, had 3 refusals SJing (running out at very last minute) jumped all 3 fine 2n time around and had 1 refusal XC which i was kind of expecting as it was a brush fence which he refused when XC schooling.
Overall i am pleased as never done a 3' XC jump before let alone a 2'9-3' course before
Just need to stop this refusing he has started doing, he is not scared and goes really nicely up to it like usual then at the very last minute ducks out
