am looking at an ideal at the moment, but ive not had a jumping saddle as ive only really flatted....
obviously it will be fitted once bought, but just wondering if anyone has general recomendations?
she is short coupled- 17inch - 17.5inch
has quite a large shoulder, and her back is quite pony- she has fairly low wither with filling either side lol

If you could afford one would go for a butet everytime.We have them on all from 16.2 v narrow to big irish 16.3 wide.
Back up service a1 and they may have 2nd hand one have a look on sederholm selected website

A Prestige great for horses with large shoulders and changable !! have one on both my short backed geldings !!

there are a few bargains on ebay (oh and i have one for sale as well !)

I have a small, short backed, big shouldered pony who is wide and flat. I have a Barnsby Milton jumping saddle on her, its fab.

I've got a CB x who is wide and short backed with big shoulders. He has some wither as weel which made him really hard to fit.

We have ended up with a Fieldhouse VSD event saddle. I found anything more forward cut just didn't have room sit on him right. I used to have an albion, but fely like I was sittinghalfway up his neck half the time.

Anyway we both find the fieldhouse very comfy.

My horse is quite short backed and has a big shoulder which pushes everything backwards. Ive got a single flapped ideal event. Really like it. The front of the saddle seems to be flexible so moves around him. I tried loads of sadlles on him inlcuding albion, prestige, stubben, pessoa and none of them seemed right for him. Would definately recommend an ideal.

Pilfer is very wide and only 15.3hh, short backed with huge shoulders.

he has a pessoa to jump in and it is fabulous- really flexible at the front to allow his shoulders to move and is very secure.

you can see how chunky he is here;

and here is his saddle in action;

he is really happy in it for all hacking as well as his jumping.
