Just wondering if anyone has any good exercises for getting a horse back into jumping?

We haven’t jumped for about a year, possibly longer, as my jump putterupperer (Mam) injured her shoulder and I prefer not having to stop and start to adjust heights/put back up if he knocks them.

Conscious we don't want to get too excited and over do it

Here’s a picture of my boy

Thanks :)

Start with just poles on the ground? Then you don’t have to get on/off. I just set them out like a course and trot/canter round. or canter poles a set distance apart and practise the striding in between.
I dont do trot poles on my own because you still have to get on/off if they kick them out of place.
then book a lesson, so someone else can put them up for you!

Thanks ?

Knocking them down now isn’t an issue as my mam has recovered from her operation and is able to help again
