Can anyone recommend good jumping exercises I can practice at home? I'm trying to jump my horse once a week over the winter to keep her schooling varied. Did it for the first time in ages last night as she had a bit of a break over the summer and she felt awful.

I put up two cross poles at E and B and another one on a diagonal and my aim of the session was to get a nice rhythm between the fences and have her meeting the jump properly. She is quite lazy so maintaing canter is a challenge.

She kept either putting in an extra stride or jumping them massive and although I finished on a good note with her jumping the 3 fences and staying in canter in between it just didn't feel very nice.

What can I practice with her to improve this?

I've got a couple of really good books for this kind of thing:

School Exercises for flatwork and Jumping, by Eleanor Ross (Aimed at instructors, but the exercises are good)
Celebrity Jumping exercises (can't remeber who its by).

But basically keep it varied. Grid work is the best thing to work on your take off points and ryhthumn.
