This is becoming a constant worry as it's becoming more and more frequent.
The yard I am at has very little grass and low fencing and I am unable to put up electric.
It started when she was left alone in the field she just popped the fence and walked down to her stable. Now everytime she is alone she does this --- apart from in the spring when there is grass! I moved her to the field next door which has horses staying out later but the new thing she has got me worrying about it jumping over into old field, the fence is higher but oftern gets broken so is literally 2ft3 and she just steps over it and goes into old field. This is obviously not so bad but it really is a constant worry. It's not that she's a real stable gal, she comes in at night and is loves going out in the morning but by 4pm she is waiting at the gate and during the day she is constantly walking around because there is no grass.
Is there anything I can do to stop it? or do you think it's time to move yards to somewhere where I wouldn't even notice the problem?
At old yard she never did it because there was always grass in the field and if not we put hay down or could always use electric fencing so makes me think the easy option would be just to move, any advice would be really helpful
