For those of who who own PRE's (or Luso's) with big movement and who also jump (yes, I know there are others out there), what make of saddle do you use?
Jumping 1 metre in a dressage saddle is probably overdoing it now, but not sure what style is best that can also cope with giving freedom in the shoulder
Thanks in advance for any suggestions

I've got a Luso x who is Luso shaped, he was incredibly difficult to fit a saddle to because he's so short in the back and he has huge shoulders which push saddles back. I've ended up with a WOW as it was the only one which seems to allow shoulder freedom and I have 16" panels for him and a 17" seat for me! Not a cheap option!

I dont have a PRE myself, however i am very lucky to have a friend with two - and i regularly ride one to accompany her on her youngster for pleasure riding/endurance (as my horse isnt suitable for endurance due to injury) - she has both of hers in free and easy saddles - she does dressage, endurance, show jumping and cross country in them. She did previously have a wow, but it started to put pressure behind so changed to the free and easy (would recommend as they are incredibly comfortable to sit on!)

Thanks for the posts so far. I knew that the shoulders would be a problem, hence riding to date in a dressage saddle which is specially designed for Iberians.
However as he jumps big, knee rolls in the right place would be more than helpful!
