Hi
i have been using a mh on my mare for few weeks now as she still after months and months of schooling raises her head when excited or jumping and just tanks me into the fence, anyway she does feel very light in this and is very infront of the leg so feel she goes very well, she never fights it and its on the loose setting i have a lot more control..... however at min im only jumping small logs out hacking and would like to try sj in it too, i just wondered if this will restrict her when sj'ing and should i be jumping below a certain height? i know they use their heads to balance etc but to be honest most of the time its on its not actually doing anything its only when she raises her head to tank off that it comes into play.
