I am in the market for a new saddle to fit my flat backed Haflinger. I used to have a treeless for my last Haflinger but it had a big pomel on it so I couldnt jump in it.

Can anyone suggest a treeless that either looks like an English saddle, or is suitable for a bit of jumping. And by jumping I mean popping the odd jump no more than about 70cm max.

Thanks

Solutions smart model looks very like a traditional saddle, you can get a GP or a jump one. I have one and I adore it..so does my horse, it never moves on her rotund dimensions, nor on my daughters TB who we also use it on as she moves much free'er under this than a tree'd saddle.
They are expensive though and second hand ones are as common as hens teeth...but you can set up a payment plan with a £500 deposit x

Solution SMART saddles. Solution saddles are the only treeless ones approved for use in FEI competition, and are discipline specific, so if you buy a jumping model you know it's fit for that purpose. I like the original models personally, though they are not so traditional looking, and I hunt, sj and xc in mine. They often have special offers when they sell off demo saddles, so have a look on their website, and the payment plan applies to those saddles too.
