Hi

Can anyone recommend a good jumping instructor - preferably one we could travel to who has their own arena. I am looking to take my girls to occasional lessons with someone else to get them some more experience.

Thanks

Nuala

There's also jonathon Lowe at Richard Carruthers yard. He has just started teaching a friend of mine and has helped her with jumping no end

My yard owner's son is giving my jumping lessons. The yard is in Mottram with a 45x45m arena with jumps. He's a BSJA YR and very good, and patient with a wuss like me.

Jonathan Lowe, now there's a blast from the past, I use to know him years ago. Was a nice guy if that helps. Pointless post sorry, just interesting to hear that he's still 'horsey'

I've had a couple of lessons off Alan Fazackerley and found him to be really good.

Andrew Hamilton does a monthly training session at Croft End near Ashton. He does half hour private lessons through the day, and then a demonstration in the evening.

I met Andrea at Mount Ballan, she hadn't half covered some miles that day, from Lancs to Kent, then back to Wales arriving after dark and had to plait up.. Like us she was peeved to find the cafe shut and in darkness.
I looked her results up and she has a good track record eventing.
I don't know if John Greenwood still teaches but he was the best trainer we ever had..

Had lessons with Alan Faz hes very good and trains i think the junior teams, also Tracy Newman is very good very easy way of teaching, she has indoor and out, both accredited coaches.

Alan is at Astley Green off the East Lancs, Tracy at Ainsworth between bolton and bury

pm if you want nos
