Jumping last Sunday

So I put a post up about my brill weekend with my lad and some of you asked for pics of my jumping!! Well I have 2 very short vids (if they work).

CC welcome if you want, but please keep in mind this is the highest we have jumped 2 foot, i have not jumped for 6 years+, have been known to sit and cry when faced with a jump, and also had OH's dad shouting fall off every time we went to the jump!! Helpful? Not

I know I need to work on landing as once or twice I did give a little yank as we landed, but bless him he never kicked off about it and just kept jumping.

Well done for conquering your fears No CC from me, you can work on the technique later on. A bit of advice though:
- put yourself a placing pole just before a jump (about 8-9 feet) it will help you get a nice take of so you can follow the horse easier
- try to approach in either sitting trot or in a two point (forward) seat as rising trot makes it more difficult for both you and the horse
- and finally SMILE and ENJOY

YAY well done you. I sit and cry at the thought of jumping and if i am faced with a jump i normaly throw up Hope you continu to conquer your fear and enjoy jumping again.
