So I put a post up about my brill weekend with my lad and some of you asked for pics of my jumping!! Well I have 2 very short vids (if they work).

CC welcome if you want, but please keep in mind this is the highest we have jumped 2 foot, i have not jumped for 6 years+, have been known to sit and cry when faced with a jump:rolleyes:, and also had OH's dad shouting fall off every time we went to the jump!! Helpful? Not

I know I need to work on landing as once or twice I did give a little yank as we landed:eek:, but bless him he never kicked off about it and just kept jumping.:D

Well done for conquering your fears:) No CC from me, you can work on the technique later on. A bit of advice though:
- put yourself a placing pole just before a jump (about 8-9 feet) it will help you get a nice take of so you can follow the horse easier
- try to approach in either sitting trot or in a two point (forward) seat as rising trot makes it more difficult for both you and the horse
- and finally SMILE and ENJOY:D

YAY well done you. I sit and cry at the thought of jumping and if i am faced with a jump i normaly throw up :( Hope you continu to conquer your fear and enjoy jumping again. :D:D:D
