Jumping Lessons in Bucks

Help; I need jumping lessons for my 8 year old gelding. He jumps normal rails fine out hunting but hates tiger traps or anything that looks bothersome!! I haven't done much with him other than hacking and he has taken a long time to 'grow into himself' as he is a biggish IDxTB. I think we need to get some confidence going on different types on fences. I have no facilities at home so need to go somewhere, preferably within a reasonable drive of Milton Keynes. Any suggestions please? Thanks...

I would have a look and see if there are any XC clinics due to be held near you, as that will be what he will benefit from the most

have a look at www.activerider.co.uk - they have a horsecamp at MKEC this summer - it would be great to give you some intensive help

Jo Birchill at MKEC is excellent and will do one to one lessons as well as clinics. Nick Turner very good clinics at MKEC for nervous riders. Aspley Guise Riding Club are doing a clinic in Feb at MKEC with Esther Evans who is lovely - this is open to non members too.

I live just North of Milton Keynes and I can highly recommend Jo Burchell(based at MK event centre) for sorting jumping problems. Nick Turners lessons are great and helpful. Also Mia Korenika, more on the SJ front though. Also try Jane Oeppen for jumping and xc.
