Hi all!
I just posted these pics in the PG and thought it might be good to hear a range of view and critique on my jumping position! I love jumping and am headed to Ireland tomorrow for a riding holiday involving lots of jumping so any tips will be put into practice!
Please dont be mean but critique is certainly welcomed, and bear in mind I probably manage to jump once every 2/3 months these days as us civvis aren't insured to jump the HHC horses.
This is me on my friends TB this weekend:
And this is me having a jumping lesson about 4 months ago on my RI's lovely boy Nico:
We were working on getting nice lines around the course so kept the jumps quite small but I have jumped him a fair bit bigger round XC schooling jumps, he's brilliant, takes a bit of encouragment over bigger fences/thinner fences or if something different comes up like a leaning gate but if you talk to him and keep leg on, he flies over! The scarier it looks the more clearance he gives! But on normal jumps he happily pops round no probs!
