jumping position help

Hi, although I'm an experienced rider, I don't normally jump. Recently I did do a bit of jumping and got my mum to video me. Overall I don't think it was *too* bad

but I tended to bend my back over a jump rather than keep it straight. We're not jumping too big, only about 2'9'' so I don't think its too much of an issue but I would like to try and progress

All i cn say right now is try and relax when approaching and ONLY bend from the hip, so that your back is relaxed and not tense and so u dont alter your posiiton.

After my exams I'm going to start having jumping lessons (eek!) but just wanted to hear opinions until I do.
 
I was at a clinic and told to visualise head butting a target suspended over the jump to stop me collapsing with my body. It helps to keep you head and shoulders up.
