Well today I took Renny into the school for some jumping, my friend from the yard is a groom from a well known event rider, in which she gets free lessons!! Anyway I asked if she could come and help put my fences up in the school

I was on the naughty step quite a few times today

my main problem is sitting up after my fence! I all most get over one fence and think Ahhh I am over!! XC I am fine! But SJing I just need to pick my self up after a fence. It never causes me a problem when I am eventing and I get in that SJ ring, its more so at home, I think I am called a One Jump person!! Thats what my trainer always says! I need to start building courses rather than just getting the one fence out, as I think that is where my habbit has come from.

God he is SOO big C! You do so well on him, he is gorgeous. No criticism, you look so with him, only thing I would say is he could be "going places" a bit more as sometimes his canter almost looks 4time?
 
He is a sweetie and I don't think your position over and away from a fence is bad at all, you are doing a great job. All I can crit on is that as he IS so big you need to try and get him up and together more and try to shorten his frame.
 
Yes agree, its so hard to do that with him tho! He will never be a horse that goes round on the bit with a flashy SJer canter, he never has been like that, but I totally agree with trying to shorten his frame more.

Thank you - he is 17.3 Irish X TB, not sure where the TB is tho!!
