Just to give all of you that have been following my jumping sarga a quick update.
Senza has been schooling really well lately and i have been practicing really hard with my position. Even out hacking etc.
Anyway last night she was feeling soooo good and was really calm and listening so at the end of our schooling sesion i decided to pop her over a couple of jumps. Only 2'6 but i just wanted to concentrate on approach and my position more than height.
I made a concious effort not to throw my reins at her on the last stride and she was jumping so good, she was keeping a steady consistant canter into the jumps, jumping them by miles and then keeping a steady canter afterwards. I was so chuffed with her (i need a more work though
).
Anyway i didn't realise someone was watching until they shouted down to me how lovely they thought she was going
. It was really nice to hear after all the trouble i have had recently.
Only popped her over about 6 jumps in total but i didn't really want to jump til my lesson on Sunday anyway but really looking forward to it now
