Hello!
I'm about to purchase a new horse, who has always jumped in a breastplate!
My current two jumpers both jump in running martingales, and any horse I have had in the last ten years have also always been running martingales (if they had a martingale!)
However, the new horse has a breatplate on at the minute, and to be honest, I don't really want to change that until I get used to him! Would anyone be able to explain to the the difference in a breastplate & martingale, and how the standing element of it compares to the running element of my usual martingale?
Thank you!
