Albion K2 Jumping Saddle. They are really good, nice seat, makes you feel really safe.
Ive currently got a Bates caprilli close contact jumping saddle, its lovely, but the seat is fairly narrow so you dont always feel to secure!!

I've had an Albion K2, currently got a bates momentum, and have ridden on lots of other makes!!

Personally I love my bates, and also likes the caprilli CC, but i've gone of big knee blocks... depends on your preference whether you like knee blocks or not.....?! Love pessoa's too...... Also have a friend with a lemetex that fitted her TB beauitifully, and was very comfy.... just enough knee/seat for security, but not bulky....

I would ignore any recommendations and get one that actually fits your horse.

Worse thing you can do is set your heart on one brand!

Pessoa - I have full brothers and it only fits one.

I do agree with Cotswolds, different horses suit different saddles as do riders. I used to love Stubbens but they did not suit my horses. It took a long time to get used to Albion but it is well and truly moulded to my rear now lol

yeah - never seen a Pessoa fit anything all that well, funny shaped saddles from what I have heard...

Albion k2 is supposed to be able to be fitted to the skinny, high withered tb shape quite well.... that would by my choice if i could afford one...

The pessoa isn't bad - but like all the brands; its off the peg, so you can hardly expect it to fit everything.

The AMO fits mine neds without withers (was bought for the half sister of the brothers and fits her well)

However the horse it doesn't fit doesn't fit any bought saddle - tried jaguars, pessoa, ideal, jeffries, albion etc etc

Now have a wow saddle for him and even so has worrying dry patches occasionally - but thats just his shape and at least will full air panels now I know its not a true pressure point (huge dry patches).

Maybe I should have bought a total contact saddle!!

GFS Fieldhouse Event Pro is comfortable & keeps you in your seat.
Incidentally I have a black narrow fitting one sitting around doing nothing at home that doesn't fit my new lad, I'm open to ideas as to what I can do with it.

My friend's 19yo high-withered AA has an Albion K2 jump saddle. I definetely sat a few of her awkward jumps in the K2 that I would have been on the deck from in another saddle! I don't like Albions though, they don't suit my behind very well, but if you get on with it then it is a nice saddle.

I had a stubbon on my IDxTB who had a high withers and fitted him well, it was the only one we tried for him.

My other IDxTB on the other had is a completley different shaped and hated riding in an albion on her

My sisters old horse has a Albion K2 jumping and she is a SFxTB . i hated riding in that at first but have grown to like it.

I don't mind which make i get aslong it fits the horse and i feel comfy in it

My vote goes for the K2 as well - as Silmarillion says, I've sat a few dodgy jumps (and bucks!

) in mine that I'd have fallen off with in another saddle.

Bate close contact by far the bestest saddle if you don't like huge knee blocks. Like I do gives me a much better position. Lovely leather. Last a life time, as the leather, and changable size means will fit all horses.

I am 5'9 and long in the thigh and I cannot ride in Albions at all - I ride short and the knee blocks are a pain. I have to have a close contact with no knee blocks. I think you have to decide if you like being wedged into a saddle or whether you ride pretty short and want freedom to move you knee.

I have a jeffries event saddle and I love it. Unfortunatly had the saddler out today to be told it no longer fits and have to sell it which means I need another saddle grrrr

well i have an albion k2 jump atm and i hate it

the seat is too deep for me and the knee blocks far too big. Though thats personal taste - as i know its a very popular saddle

im just about to invest in a pessoa event saddle and ive tried it once and loved it

I've got a skinny high witherd TB who had a Passier jump saddle at first, it fitted him ok untill he grew some muscles!
I now have a wow, which i'm very pleased with. It has big (ish) blocks, but they are above the knee, so you don't feel very restricted, but still secure. I'd highly reccomend the wow

.
No one saddle fit's any horse (and certainly the bates/ wintec type don't fit big lad) so it really is a case of trial and error; I wanted a Amerigo but he likes the wow, so thats what we got
