I ride my section B driving pony, to imporve his driving, and he does quite enjoy it- as long as he doesnt go too long without driving.
Before i got him, he hadnt been ridden for about 5 years i dont think, and though hes doing really well, we have a little bit of a problem jumping.
He's 18 now, section B, but doesnt act old
He jumps tiny crosses about 3'', and it takes ages to get him to jump the actual height, and if you do it too much, he gets bored, so you have to out them up- so the keep him little until he jumps the right size doesnt really work! the hightest fence ive done on him is 2'3, but he still jumped it about 6 inches bigger than it was. its really weird, because the smaller the jump, the higher he goes. But he gets put off as soon as it starts looking more solid! He's got a lovely little jump, except he sometimes lands with his hind legs(i think its just cause hes a bit unbalanced?)
But any ideas to get him to jump smaller? He doesnt rush it or anything
