I hope to jump tomorrow; and I havent jumped for a long time; a couple of months at least.
Most of you know I have been doing a lot of intensive flatwork and some polework and its been going well.
Is there any advice I could have for keeping me and her calm and relaxed while jumping? as I know it will be incredibly exciting.. bringing on tensness on my part.

So help please :-)

Do you use trotting poles before the jump to stop your horse rushing? Daisy found jumping very exciting when I first got her so I spent alot of time stopping a couple of strides after the jump.

Oh er - you wanna have a word with Bedbug about this one. She's just been going through getting back into jumping after having her confidence messed up by some rather inappropriate lessons by some rather well thought of people.

Send her a PM and I'm sure there'll be loads of info.

thanks... its not the training; as at training im really confident.. i have flatwork lessons with a very good dressage coach, and showjumping lessons with richard barton, im going to start having some with a pc trainer too!!

ive always struggled with my confidence!!
