June lost her battle today

Well My mare June who had Protein Losing Enteropathy (sp) got a temperature and infection in top of this condition and today she made it know this was one battle too far.
So i made the kindest decision i could and put her out of her pain.
She will now be running free with Ellie (12 nov 2010) Pride (6th Nov 2010) Pearl (13th Feb 2010) all my love to my girls that went to be angels in 2010.
Roll on 2011 i cant take much more of this

I am not surprised. How absolutely dreadful and completely unfair. Nothing I can say to help lessen the pain but I can send my sincere good wishes and hopes that 2011 finds you a lifetime horse which lasts exactly that - a lifetime.

Thank you everyone, it has been hard, but i know in every case it was for the right reasons.
The girls are in no more pain, and that is the best thing i can take from 2010

I've lost five horses over the last few years and know how you must be feeling.

Well done though for making the best decision for June.
