Sorry silly question really, is there a best time to affiliate i mean any particular time of the year, its just that have a twelve year old daughter running out of classes on the unaffiliated circuit being regularly placed in 3ft opens on her 14HH pony, is it worth affilliating yet or should we keep on with the local shows, she has regular jumping lessons and has been competing on different ponies since she was 7. Have been on the BSJA website omg seems a bit confusing to me.

Well you get a year running membership, so if you register now then you will get til this time next year. She can still do opens if she is affiliated so thats no problem. Im not sure on dates etc, but II think she can start getting double clears for 08 now, as they are working their way thru semi finals etc now.

Now would be a good time to get double clears for next year (2nd rounds on in summer of 08) and also Blue Chip championship qualifiers over the winter.

Good luck! You'll be pleasantly surprised at how organised it is and how well build the courses are compared to many unaff venues.
