I have been shortlisted for Junior Lawyer of the Year as a result of my work as a Trainee Horse Solicitor. The competition was open to all lawyers in England and Wales up to 5 years post qualification. The winner will be announced at a black tie event in London on 18 October 2012. It is fantastic to be shortlisted for such a prestigious award. There was a time when dedicated equine lawyers did not exist. It is therefore wonderful to be recognized for the work that we do and for horse riders to be able to seek advice from experts in that particular area of law.
