I thought I'd start a new thread as she has been named for quite some time now!

Here she is, 12 weeks old today. Ears are pricked (which is a shame as we liked them floppy!), she's toilet trained, and learning some commands. We've got an excellent sit, we can also do down, roll over, come, look at me. We've started some leg weaves, and some heel work, she started going out on Tuesday and she's good on the leash, walking next to us, plus we let her off when it's safe. It's funny, she's not as interested in learning as Woolfie was, although she's just as intelligent (if not more so).

We did our first puppy class on Tuesday and at first she was very nervous of the other pups but came out of her shell pretty quickly and was playing rough and tumble by the end of it. I had absolutely no concentration from her, so it's going to be a challenge to get her listening to me with huge distractions. That's what they're for though!

Thanks amymay, she's also VERY NAUGHTY! Latest naughtiness is going upstairs, so we got a stairgate. We have to block off the sides though, as the little skinny minny gets through the sides:lol:

She really is beautiful!

We took Luna to classes. Although her eyes were on me the whole time we were there, she didn’t do a thing she was meant to. Practicing at home though, 100%.

Aww she is looking so different with her pricked up ears what a lovely girlie!

Thank you :)

Thank you :) I had no attention from her once she realised the other dogs were good fun! Hoping to build on that haha.

Very cute

Thank you

Great progress JB, you and Juno are both doing really well. Can’t get over her amazing colouring.

Thank you, everyone comments on her, she is unusual although I'm a member of a couple of border collie groups and there are more out there than you think.

This morning she blotted her copybook and did a poo in the living room! I had taken her outside but there was a ball on the lawn so she just lay down watching it. She's been with Mr JB for a couple of days and I've asked him not to play too much ball with her but he doesn't pay much attention to me.

She is lovely and seems to have settled in very well. It sounds like she is easier to train than OH. Another one that loves her colour.

She is such a pretty pup and I love her pricked ears. I always think it makes them look a little sharper and more intelligent :)

Thanks all, I can't believe how much she's grown in the last couple of weeks.

Just after my last update, we were out on a walk with her off leash when a couple of dogs came careering towards her, one barking, which terrified her and she bolted. We lost her for about 45 minutes and didn't think we'd see her again, but she ended up on the road and a man stopped the traffic and caught her. We were very lucky, it was awful and could have ended very badly. Since then we've tried to socialise her a lot, she's been to puppy socialization every week, and into doggy day care a few times. She's now much bolder with other dogs but still scared if they bark, so we are picking our times for letting her off leash. Went out to a fully fenced enclosure this morning and she had a great time.

At puppy socialization:

Her fist visit to the pub, brilliantly behaved and helped us win the pub quiz:

Lastly a link to a short video on FB of her on the walk today https://www.facebook.com/1031950846962136/posts/1072643192892901/

That must have made your heart skip a few beats!

She has grown so much, time flies when they are little doesn’t it. It looks like fabulous walking where you are, very jealous.

That must have been gut-wrenchingly terrifying to lose her like that. So glad she was found and caught. Why are some dog owners so irresponsible! A charging, barking dog is likely to frighten many and shouldn’t be off lead.
Beautiful photos. She’s very photogenic ❤️

We went for a walk at Highdown Hill today and met a semi-pro photographer while having breakfast in the cafe, he asked if be could take some pics of the girls and emailed them to me, how kind. They're gorgeous.

Included is the Westie, just for Dab-Dab!
