I haven't done an update for a while, so thought I'd give you a brief rundown of what we've been up to.

Juno's 8.5 months old now and is developing into a beautiful dog, I think she's still got some growing to do though. She's a really smart little cookie, much higher energy than Woolfie was and it makes me wonder if Woolfie was never quite right hence the illness that took her (meningitis for those who don't know).

She's ever such a friendly dog, adores other dogs and people, except she doesn't like men coming into her environment (home and office), she almost went to bite the postman the other day so I'll need to keep her under control when people come in. She's very fearful of them, but out on a walk she'll be fine, if a little wary of men more than women.

We've just finished a 6 week Bronze Obedience course, today we had competitive games (best heel work, longest stay, quickest recall etc) and she won 4 of the 6 games. I was especially pleased as each time she won, I got a chocolate 😁😁

She's a super dog to have around although she likes to stalk her toys, we throw, she stalks and brings it back, strong herding instinct. When she was 6 months, I took her to the field I was about to buy and unbeknownst to me, sheep had got in. She swiftly rounded them up into a corner before I realised they were even there, but I blew my whistle and she came straight back to me, good dog. A few photos as no pupdates are complete without them 😎😎
Stalking ready to pounce:
Crashed out:
Dogs on the bed...don't show this to @Chiffy 😱😊
I found these pictures in a local garden centre, remarkably like my dogs!

Good to read an update JB, she is coming along well. Tess could do with classes like you have, there is nothing like that up here, so it’s all down to me.
She better stop winning soon or you will be the size of a house 😂
How much does she weigh now? I was surprised how light she was last time you mentioned her weight.

Haha it was only because it was Christmas, they don't usually do those sorts of games. You should start a training class yourself, I bet you'd get a lot of interest.
I haven't weighed her for a while but she was about 12kg last time. Next time we're at doggy day care I'll have to remember to pop her on the scales.

She is such an unusual colour. Coming from working stock she will have unlimited energy .... my first Collie was the same and spent hours every day trying to round up house martins! Luckily Daisy is much more laid back.
Sounds like your training is going really well, keep it up. Xx

What a gorgeous girl. How is she getting on with your horses now? I’ll have to do an update on mine soon as he has just turned 1 (and is only 13.5kgs)!

I missed this thread too. Sorry Jenn!! She's totally gorgeous, I love her colour so much and I'm a wee bit jealous that you get to do group things and win chocolate. I tried once and everybody had tiny dogs and looked at me like I was a total weirdo bringing a chasse dog so I didn't go back!

I'm still separating them, when they're in the stables she's not great so I'm keeping them away from each other still. Yes we need an update on your gorgeous boy!

You made me laugh out loud with that comment!
