I am going to look at a little mare in a couple of hours and believe it or not she is literally only 5mins up the road from me, how strange is that.
She sounds so sweet and certainly looks lovely and what I would be after in the sense of getting me back into horses and helping me with my confidence out hacking.

I really do hope this mare will be what I am looking for...
Please keep everything crossed for me... :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

(and I have just been called re my new job, I start in the morning) so thrilled :D :D

Hope she's "the one". We just bought a horse who we could almost hack home he was so near. Also the first one we saw and he's lovely.
Me and mine have paws, hooves and fingers crossed for you.

Fingers crossed yr lucks changed!! After all that searching and she might well have been just up the road! Well done with the job aswell!!

Thanks although I am trying to stay level headed about it at the moment until I have at least tried her out 1st... she certainly looks good though to me anyway.

Will update later :)

well my jods are donned and my hat at the ready...just have to dig the boots out of shed...yikes!
I'm quite excited and yet nervous at the same time ha ha how silly!

Just hope the owners like me and my riding on her too considering I haven't ridden in while now so hope I remember it all still and not look too much like a numpty ha ha

Wish me luck :D

Good luck, I hope shes the one for you!, I am also viewing a Horse (tomoz) so know how excited you must be!

Good luck for the job aswell.

Well... she is absolutely lovely stood outside her stable waiting so patiently for me to arrive bless her, she pulls faces but doesn't do anything.

Had a lovely chat with the mother and daughter about the mare, they know all her history as they know her previous owner so that's great

The daughter got on her 1st, we were riding in the field as no school available which was fine with me, so yes daughter roder her round for a bit, then I jumped on WOW how it felt to be back in a saddle and she was sooo comfy too she is slightly chunky.
I walked and trotted only as the ground in her field was quite hard, so didn't want to jar her legs or anything she was so light in her mouth I had barely any contact with her at all, she was listening to everything I patted her as I was riding her and chatting away to her bless her she must've thought 'what on earth have I got on my back'... she was very well behaved.

She can get a bit on her toes when cantering and jumping but doesn't want to run off or buck.
I actually felt rather safe on her, wasn't sure if I was too big though being as I am 5'10 and she is 15hh but a well built type. :)

I am going back to ride her out next weekend, as owners are going away this weekend.
so I shall look forward to this loads.

So she may well have found her new mummy in me? :D :D

a couple pics that I have of her:
this is obviously not me so please no comments on rider. thanks
