Just a ponder - which UK celebs have horses?

Brian Ferry's (Roxy Music) son is a MFH somewhere I believe and Rupert Grint (Harry Potter) went to a yard where my friend was working to buy a horse - shortly after becoming a celeb in the first Potter film. :p

They have a huge equestrain property in Switerland, im told the the stables are carpeted!
 
I believe Howard Donaldson's (Take That) daughters ride but do'nt know if they have their own ponies. Richard Wilson (Merlin & One Foot in the Grave) has owned event horses in the past.
 
Another one is David Gilmour (Pink Floyd) who has also owned event horses, saw him at Badminton a couple of years ago.
 
I can't remember her name for the life of me!

But she was that celebrity wine taster on telly a few years ago with blonde hair!??

When I competing as a kid I used to see her there with her children riding... Always knew it was her before you even saw her because of her distinctive voice!
 
Hugh Dennis (and his kids) of Mock the Week/My Hero fame definitely ride and wouldn't surprise me if they've got their own now :)
 
We have one of Susan George's Arabs at our yard. Also, very posh yard near here (had a schoolmaster lesson there once) has lots of WAG's horses, apparently! Don't know exactly who. I'm going to have another lesson shortly, I think, so will try and find out more details! ;)

Noel Edmonds' step-daughter was on the Europeans team for Pony Dressage in the 90's (and apparently very good at winding up some of the showjumpers :rolleyes:).
The chap that plays Inspector Lynley (Nathaniel Parker) own's racehorses - he was in the Paddock at the Gold Cup meeting being lovely to everyone.
 
Susannah Doyle who was in Drop the Dead Donkey does. Ex-footballer Ashley Ward due to his daughter's show jumping. Can't really think of anybody else who hasn't been mentioned already. There are loads of American and Canadian celebrities that spring to mind, but not British.

oh that is really sad. I thought it was just in his last acting role, didn't realise it was for real.
 
Andrew Lloyd Webber has a TB stud near here. Married an eventer.

Joan Armatrading had horses but not sure if she still rides as she is probably quite old! LOL!

Anthony Andrews the actor has coloured horses.
George Michael bought his dad a stud farm.
